Gabriel Silva: Illustration

November 22, 2009 By Wendy Campbell

Today’s image is by San Paulo, Brazil artist Gabriel Silva. Though the subject is of a mother and child, the illustration reminds me of Klimt’s “The Kiss“. Since the folder where the image is located is titled “Gustav”, I’m guessing that it was the inspiration for this piece.

I was unable to find any biographical information on Silva but to see more of his work, check out his profile on Behance.

Update: A kind reader Lea pointed me to Klimt’s “The Three Ages of Woman” as the reference for Silva’s illustration. Thanks Lea!
